You’re Invited: National Day of Prayer & Leadership for the Common Good Award Service

Interfaith Action of SW Michigan invites you to join us for our Annual National Day of Prayer and Common Good Award Service on Thursday, May 1, at 12:00 PM at First Congregational Church (2001 Niles Ave, St. Joseph, MI 49085).

This gathering brings together our diverse faith communities in a spirit of unity, reflection, and shared commitment to justice. As part of the service, we will show an interview with our 2025 Leadership for the Common Good Awardee, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. The Annual Common Good Award honors an individual in Michigan whose leadership ensures the full rights and democratic participation of all Michiganders.

All are welcome as we lift up prayers for our communities and recognize those working tirelessly for the common good.

Inspired by Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Indigenous traditions, our annual event includes music, presentations, and a joint commitment to migrants. This past year, we honored Nate Fuller and Margarita Llerena, respectively, with Environmental Justice and Migrant Rights Leadership Awards.
