Lead Advisor

Note: this may be different depending on the policy area and the advocacy opportunities.

• Average 2 -3 hours a month

• Receive news briefs from 1 - 2 advocacy or issue partners and recommend taking advocacy action in accord with policy platform priorities. 

• Participating in Interfaith’s virtual leadership team meetings every 2 to 3 months

Justice Liaison

• Average 5-6 hours a month

• Sign up for, and actively read, news briefs from 2 to 3 assigned advocacy partners

• As appropriate, establish routine connections with Mi Religious Leaders for Justice Liaisons to coordinate advocacy efforts. 

• Maintain active communication with Co-Directors, including:

• Recommending educational efforts

• Recommending advocacy actions consistent with advocacy partners and Interfaith Policy Platform Priorities

• Alert when IA and/or Mi Religious Leaders signature for letter is needed

• Provide brief reports on areas of focus reported by advocacy partners for leadership team meetings (or newsletters)  every 2 months.
