Great Waters Initiative.

While over 70% of the Earth is water, only about 4% of that water is drinkable and able to sustain life. Whether we believe it or not, water is vital to living a life of dignity and access to clean, safe water is the sign of a community that can thrive.

In Michigan while we are surrounded by the Great Lakes, lack of conservation and access has alienated communities from this life-giving resource.

Our Great Waters Initiative focuses on preserving the resource of the Great Lakes by advocating for open access to safe water for drinking and recreational activities.
